Weyandt, Lewis, Jesmer, Garlock, and Bechtel pick up wins at The Greater Cumberland Raceway

Devin Weyandt made an exciting last corner pass of race leader Curtis Heath to pick up the win on the Limited Late Model feature Saturday night. Heath led 14 and ¾ laps before developing an engine miss and Weyandt swept by coming off turn four to take the checkered flag. Heath would limp home second followed by Herb Hilliard, Brian Lowery, and Kayden Smith rounded out the top five.

Dylan Lewis picked up the win in the Crate Late Models for the second time this year at The Greater Cumberland Raceway. Lewis who started at the rear roared to the lead and never looked back. Michael Ott was second followed by Nick Tressler and Zach Price.

Jimmy Jesmer held off a hard charging Jonathan Taylor to take home the win on the E-Mod feature event. Jesmer led every lap to take the win. Taylor who started in the back made a late race charge only to come up short and settle for second. Rick Hulson was third followed by Mike Altobelli and Ed Vogel.

In the $400 to win special event for the 4 cylinders it was Rusty Garlock taking the win in the 15 lap feature event. Josh Ringer would come home second with Wayne Brenize third. Corey McKenzie and Robert Cutshell completed the top five.

Nick Bechtel making his first start in nearly 15 years at The Greater Cumberland Raceway would take home the win in the Pure Stock feature. Brad Feight would finish second and Tyler Alkire came home third. Tyler Ritchey and Bradon Inglish completed the top five.

The Greater Cumberland Raceway takes a week off and then is right back in action on July 8th with a full racing program of Super Late Models, Limited Late Models, Pure Stocks and 4 cylinders with a special appearance by 2017 Ms. Motorsports Taylor Albert.
